Hey Everyone, meet two of our favorite sisters: Cheyenne and Nicole!

Cheyenne is an avid horseback rider who enjoys everything from laid-back rides on the trails to competing in barrel racing. She has been barrel racing since 2010 and loves that when she enters the ring it’s just her, her horse and the timer. Cheyenne has three horses - George, Mikki and Flash. She grew up on a dairy farm in a small town and began riding as soon as she was able to walk. When Cheyenne first started care at Kinkaid Family Chiropractic, she had constant low back pain from horseback riding and farm work. After a barrel race, Cheyenne's low back pain would become so intense that she felt like it was impossible to even move. Cheyenne states that “Once I began going to Kinkaid Family Chiropractic for regular chiropractic adjustments, I have been able to compete pain-free!”

Nicole had the same upbringing as her little sister, Cheyenne. There are pictures of Nicole on a horse before she could even walk! Nicole began competing at the age of 10 and has continued to compete for the past 19 years. Nicole mostly rides western pleasure and hunter under saddle on the AQHA circuit. She has had numerous accomplishments from competing in jumping, trail equitation/horsemanship and showmanship. Nicole loves the bond that she has with her horses and competing at the national level. Unfortunately for Nicole, doing what she loved was accompanied by excruciating low back pain, neck pain and sciatic nerve pain that would radiate down her left leg. She had pain after riding multiple horses in a day or after driving long hours to get to and from a show. Her sister Cheyenne recommended that she go to Kinkaid Family Chiropractic to see Dr. Jessica Kinkaid and Dr. Ashley Busse. After just a few adjustments, Nicole stated “My sciatic nerve pain is almost completely gone and now I can lay down and fall asleep without pain at night!”

If you or someone that you know is a horseback rider, they may benefit from chiropractic care, too.
